This policy explains what information the Baby Care app ("Baby Care", "we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We built Baby Care to be a calm, private record of your family's day — we do not run ads, we do not use tracking or analytics SDKs, and we do not sell your data.
When you create an account we use Firebase Authentication (a Google service). Depending on how you sign in, we receive your email address and a unique account identifier from Sign in with Apple, Google, or email/password. If you use Sign in with Apple's "Hide My Email", we only ever see Apple's private relay address.
The heart of the app is the data you choose to record: baby profiles (such as name and date of birth) and activity logs (feeds, diapers, sleep, growth, and notes), along with daily summaries derived from them. You enter this information; we store it so it syncs across your devices and caregivers.
If you invite another caregiver, we process the invite and the members of your family group (their account identifier, email, and role such as owner, caregiver, or viewer) so shared tracking works.
To deliver push notifications and Live Activities, we store push tokens and basic device information (a device identifier, notification environment, timezone, and locale). This is used only to route notifications to your devices.
If you purchase a subscription, Apple processes the payment. We receive only your subscription status (active/expired and plan) from Apple to unlock features — we never receive your credit card or full payment details.
Baby Care stores data using Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore, Firebase Authentication, and Cloud Functions), operated by Google LLC as our data processor. Push notifications are delivered through Apple Push Notification service. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.
Data you record is shared with the caregivers you invite to your family group, according to the role you assign them (viewers have read-only access). Removing a member revokes their access to future data.
You can delete individual entries in the app at any time. You can also delete your entire account from within the app: open the Account screen and tap Delete Account. If you are the family owner, this permanently deletes the family and all of its data for every caregiver; if you are a caregiver or viewer, it removes you from the family. Deletion takes effect immediately and cannot be undone. If you signed in with Apple, we also revoke your Sign in with Apple tokens. We remove your personal data from our active systems, and backups are purged on a rolling schedule. If you need help, email support@aibaby.care.
Baby Care is a tool for parents and caregivers (adults) to record information about their own children. It is not directed to children as users, and we do not knowingly allow children to create accounts. The information about your baby is entered by you, the account holder.
Depending on where you live (for example, under GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact support@aibaby.care. We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of in that respect.
Access to your family's data is enforced server-side: only authenticated members of your family group can read or write it. Data is encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and limit access to what the app needs.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "Last updated" date.
